I got these and immediately put them through a 24 mile
backpacking hike to Havasupai falls. After using mostly
cheap flip flops from India or bear feet to do all my hiking
and backpacking, traveling and adventure, these were a
welcome and needed addition to my repertoire. But I keep
trying to do trips like this in closed toed shoes and boots
and my feet never fit, and these fit me fine and I am good
at wearing flip flops. I recently attempted a overnight
pilgrimage to a holy site near Santa Fe in Chimayo and was
left trembling, with many blisters by my closed-toed shoes.
It shall be flip flops as much as possible for me from now
on! I am a little concerned that the padding will wear out
prematurely on these though. My athletic shoe expert friend
who has worked at a shoe store for at least 8 years tells me
I have an excellent posture, and I feel like I do run into
shoes that wear out faster and slower. Flip flops,
unfortunately do not have replaceable insoles, and I would
rather shoes just lasted anyway. I gave this 4 stars because
I am not sure yet how long these will last and how the
insole, which is very comfortable so far, will hold up. I am
aware that these are not built for backpacking...

While I travel a ton, these sandals go everywhere I go. I
don't comment on many products unless I mean what I say, but
these are incredible sandals. I agree with most others that
when the footbed gets wet, they are rather slippery...but
they dry off extremely quickly. The arch support is perfect
for my feet, and they have helped my aching back a ton as
well. I've not worn another pair of flops since I got these.
I've done hikes in the Thai jungle, through a river and down
some waterfall rocks, so far they're holding up perfectly!
Highly recommend them, I'll be checking out more products
next time I'm in the USA!

These are the most comfortable flip flops I have ever owned.
I live in Southern California where flip flops can be worn
all year long and I have them all, Reef, Havianas, Rainbow,
and hands down, comfort wise these are it. These aren't the
cutest, but subsequently I have purchased other options in
the Olukai line and those are just as comfortable. You can
definitely walk forever in these and they don't feel like
they are slipping on your foot and provide nice cushioning.
If you have a flat foot, they may be a bit painful, but if
you have any arch at all, they are perfect. I am a true size
7.5 and decided to size down to the 7 rather than go up to
the 8 and the fit is just perfect. If you have longer toes,
you may want to consider the larger size if you fall into a
half size. Great shoes and great service from them.
Jenna G from Santa Cruz,
I love these. I moved to a beach town and needed new
flip-flops. I went to two surf stores and tried on dozens of
pairs. These were the only ones that really fit my short
toes and wide feet, and they are very comfortable and
durable. I usually do not want to spend too much on sandals
but these are worth the money. I guess if you have normal
shaped feet, you might find these are a little short and
wide; I often have to buy 8I love these. I moved to a beach
